Last post from this delivery I promise! HEELS! From the ones we can't get enough of to the prettiest of newbies, we got you and your frock covered. I missed out on the Vivienne Westwood Skyscrapers last time. I had put a pair aside for myself but never got a chance to actual take them home and wear them and then someone nearly cried in the store because she wanted them so badly and so I gave her 'my' pair. Have regretted it ever since. That will NOT be happening again! These pumps are really just the most perfect pair of heels ever. Think Minnie Mouse but hot! Enough ranting, looky!

MOON!

Get the Floc outta here! OK. I love this style so much they're getting their own post. So very, very, very comfortable! I know this because the second they came in, I grabbed my navy pair and put them on my feets. Unlike any other pair of Melissa's I have, these guys have an actual cushioned insert! "Hey Moon! You are hitting the streets of Tokyo with me next week. Walk, walk, walkety walk!"

New Beginnings

Happy new Year!


We closed for a week- and because I am a manic, instead of taking a week off after the sheer insanity of the  appropriately named silly season, I thought hey, let's renovate the shop. It's been 3 and a half years (Believe!) and it was time to freshen it up a little. Mostly because let's face it- there were things about the space that having been working for us since the beginning.. Like, for example the ever diminishing space/storage and the ever growing amount of stock/lines we are representing. 


So what's for 2012? Well, first things first, we're having a bit of a kick ass sale on almost everything in the store so we can make room for the new seasons things that will start arriving pretty soon. Make that 20% off clothes that are not marked down already (excluding ONLY the Qoo Qoo hoodie which only JUST arrived last week when we were renovating- it's $199). Also 20% off all full priced Melissa shoes AND up to 40% off our socks and hosiery..


Next, well, we're going to be getting in the AW12 hosiery range. Lookie here...

And what else. Well, well, we're taking this range with us to Tokyo. Mmmhmmm. We're showing at a trade Fair called Rooms. I'm thrilled, terrified, overwhelmed.. But am certain it will be AMAZING and having a few extra days to play in Japan is pretty rad too. Hit me up with suggestions of your favourite things to do in Tokyo will ya. I want to go crazy there :)

The other huge thing we'll be doing is FINALLY getting a kick-ass online store happening. Yes, for reals (I have 12 months to make this happen but hope it will be much sooner so DEFINITELY expect it!).

10 things I like about Pugh

Just in case you're not all over WHY it's such a big deal that we're getting in Gareth Pugh x Melissa shoes, lemme illustrate for you why, this guy, is possibly the coolest human on earth.. When I'm cool enough and rich enough I will be wearing things such as these. Luckily, I've always had a plan that if I make it to old age, I am going to be one of those eccentric nana's. Is there any other way?

While the rest of us are slaves to colour trends, this guy keeps it real. Black. White. Finito!

Love- Love- LOVE our new TIE-UPS. Not only are they looking awesome all stacked on display in their ace clear plastic boxes but it's really about the colours. I could go on and on but the details are:

Awesome belts made in Italy- totally Cruelty free and customizable! You can mix'n'match the buckles and the belts and cut it to size to wear on the hip or on the waist. There's a Slim-cut and a standard width. They're unisex (which we LOVE). BEST colour range and the packaging is awesome. $55, Italian made & extra buckles can be bought separately for $15.
